The first concert of 2021 of the Tbilisi Youth Orchestra

On April 8, at 18:00, Tbilisi Youth Orchestra named after Giya Kancheli will hold the first concert of the 2021 spring season in the Theater Hall of the National Palace.

This time the orchestra is conducted by Maestro Gogi Chichinadze, a well-known Georgian conductor working in Georgia and abroad, the artistic director of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdansk. The soloist of the concert will be a young pianist Giorgi Gigashvili, who recently became a scholarship holder of the legendary Marta Argerich and will take part in the Arthur Rubenstein International Pianist Competition in April. In this way, the listener will be able to listen to George’s final tour program before leaving for the competition.

The program includes: Mozart – Symphony №39 and Beethoven – 5th Piano Concerto.
